MESO Puddle Light build

Nah, sold my one set of Fully loaded Ultimate Mirrors with puddles so that sent me their puddles. Installed mine months ago to replace the V1's.

 

It's a great plug n play system.

 

Ordered a set as well. Now I need the smoke turn signals.

 

I am planning on doing the same thing, expect with noico's mat and insulation foam.

Is there anything I have to be aware of when I pull off the two front seats.
I remember reading about something related to either airbags or resetting, not sure.
Or is it just unplug and plug the electronics back when done?

 

It's always a good idea to disconnect battery when messing with airbags. Nothing special. After removing 4 bolts. Tip entire seat back and unplug connections.

So the toggle switch... anyone what size will it be–the larger or smaller Toyota switch size?

 

In an earlier post he said the smaller switch.

 

If I'm not mistaken its of the smaller size.

 

Darn... I was hoping it would be the larger size... I had a spot in mind.

 

I’m hoping there’s a panel made for the upper cubby hole that will accept this switch. The only available hole I have is a long one

 

MESO has a mod for this, not sure if it will fit upcoming switch

 

Ect switch delete would be perfect to put a switch in for puddles

 

I'm looking to see if theres a way to hook it up to factory bed light switch, since I don't get the fancy approach smart key setup on the mt6. I would still like the fade in/out on unlock but just be able to have my bed light switch to keep it on for like 15/20mins until whenever the factory shutoff kicks in or keep it off.

 

The blank, on the right, is the only large switch hole. At least it is in my '19. All of the rest of the switches are the small one.

There are several options for switches that will replace the cubby hole. They take the small switch. MESO has one and Cali Raised also has one. They are relatively inexpensive.

My first meso mod was the new keyless remote 2 months ago, since then, a stage 2 pro shift knob, interior light mods, the stage 2 tail lights just arrived and I installed same day, and now I just ordered the puddle pods..... My wife is eventually going to catch on and kill me.

 

tell me about it I ve got 2 or 3 of some things different versions of course . Still really impressed with the ultimate tail lights
