What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm just trying to do one mod per paycheck instead of dumping $10K at one time.

 

If you go this route, remember, There is a very little black vinyl DOT that comes with it!!!!! It is floating around in the box. Very important!!! It is to go over the key hole on the lock. Just stick it on. Keeps all of the stuff out of the lock hole! I cleaned, with alcohol, the surface of the key hole before I stuck it on, FWIW! Good luck.

I know. Already did tires, rims, window tint, subwoofer upgrade, etc. Slow and steady. I put waaaaay too much money in my Jeep.

Got tired of it. Sold it to get the Tacoma. I had a 2014 JKU w/ 3" lift, 35's, huge stereo system, hard top. You know to much to list, blah, blah, blah. Fun toy but not practical at all. Actually bought it to tow behind a motorhome, but the kids have too many activities so we don't have time to camp anymore. Maybe when the kids are out of high school we can buy another camper/motorhome.

 

Well, there is a TWIN TURBO offer, double? close. Also Super charger + 100hp increase, 80 APPX. TQ. I have the latest and greatest upgrade and am loving it!!! I only have the TUNE upgrade The OP owner (Mat Wilson) is genus. Cracked the Toyota ECU code and is doing spectacular upgrades to the ECU and letting the 3.5 breathe the best it can for now. OP is still upgrading the code and once you purchase you have all the upgrades for free!! Not too bad! Look it over. Think about it. One more thing, the tune is undetectable, If you need service for any reason Toyota cannot tell that you have tuned your ECU!

 

So....mostly through laziness, I have refrained from listing every single little thing I have done...I have stuck to the philosophy that unless it was a lot of work, or unless it cost me blood, LOTS of money or chunks of hair and flesh (for the record, when you are crawling around underneath your Taco and you find that sharp edge on the exhaust pipe with the side of your noggin, you DO in fact leave large bits of DNA behind, just like a crime scene. On CSI New York. And you - inadvertently - teach the neighbourhood kids, and anyone for whom English is a second language, a whole bunch of colourful new words) it is probably not worth the trouble of sitting down in front of the computer.

But

I gotta say, that MESO Ultimate Dome Light, was cheap - CAD$50.00 with shipping and our outrageous current exchange rate - quick and easy to install. And it is simply amazing. It really does light up the whole cab. Well worth the cost, and the drive across the frontier to pick it up.

And for anyone who has a 2019 RAV4 - it will fit. So, I will be buying another one.

Actually, the next one will be for my Taco....I rather foolishly, thinking to put a temporary end to the Cantonese tinted nagging about yet another mod, said "See, Dear, how good it looks in your new RAV4....we can get one for you too!"

Apparently this one was really meant for the wife.

Much to my surprise, the Grey Ghost didn't need a new dome light yet.

Pretty smooth. A little more planted than stock I would say. Feels nice. It’s gonna need an alignment, it’s a tad pigeon toed, but not horrible but

Good point, I humbly stand correctly....Inexpensive it is.
