I saw some back there when I opened it, will take a look.

We went to a different Costco and got a different one. Wanted to return the rotten ones and the bottle of sake because otherwise I would have forgotten and never gone back to return it and wasted money.

The point is gonna be chopped, the flat is gonna be sliced.

Your garlic story reminds me of my friend and onions. Were making burgers once and everyone wanted to mix some chopped onions into the beef patties (yes we made em by hand). So my boy starts going off on how he doesnt like onion and he wants a couple patties without onions for him. We left about half of em without onion. So I cook the burgers, they come out real damn nice, my buddy is telling me how great I cook and how the burger is one of the best he’s had etc etc As I look at the last little bit of burger that left on his plate I tell him “hey I think you ate it with onion” and he sees it and straight puts it down and says that he didnt like the burger anymore.

It was pretty good! I think some of the ribs that were on the left side of the grill aren’t cooked enough. Going to throw in oven for about an hour when I reheat. There will be leftovers for a few days! Not pictured is the tri tip I had made too
Thanks! Came out mostly all good. The spicy pitface was SPICY this time. I was sweatin. The unicorn one I had was good but a bit rubbery. And the regular pitface was really good flavor but still a bit rubbery. Overall for my first batch of ribs and doing 3 racks at a time I’m happy with the results. Got some tweaking to do next time for sure but that’s what it’s all about right? I started a BBQ journal for my cooks with the ribs. Going to do it for every cook going forward. I of course forgot to time the tri tip :annoyed:

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
3 racks and a tri tip!! Just a snack!!
Try the 3-2-1 or 2-2-1. If you want a little bite through, just do 3-1.5-1 or 2-1.5-1

The disconnected probe issue didn't pop us as much. Still need to try this in Bluetooth only mode as well. For the most part, pretty solid on this cook.

I went from a family of four with two teenaged boys, to me and my wife who is going through a vegetarian phase at the moment. I bring food in to work to give away because I can't seem to figure out how to cook for one.

Sorry for the dark pic. Not a lot of light out at the time . 155 IT and gonna wrap in paper with some Wooster / water mix. Went 180* for first three hours then bumped to 215 for the next 6. Now I'm up to 230 to finish it .

Barq is set beautifully. Smoke tube ran to completion. Color is better than I can get a pic of. Gonna try and nap a little more now :cheers:
