Hi James!I been good. I'm doing 2-3 days of military a week and they are day shift and 2-3 days of my civilian job which is as you know graveyard. Been working any where from 48-60 hours a week.

Not to mention doing crap around the house like cleaning the driveway, deck and patio.... Then stripping, sanding and restaining the deck.

damn thats rough. pulling 12s with SF? and what base are you at? i have to give it to the AF, they do have some of the nicest bases. just will never live on one again. hated dealing with SF (no offense).

I'm air guard.... And on a Navy base.... a Navy base that is land locked but borders a lake.... So o guess not totally land locked

No offense taken. No I'm doing 10 hour days with the SF.... And 12-16 hours (depends on the day) with my civilian job

hmm, thats interesting. sounds like something we would do. i hate navy bases so much. went thru a school in san diego for 7 months. and ive spent some time at other ones. last one i went to (not counting GTMO) was great lakes. My brother is stationed there so i visited him. only think i like bout their bases is the exchanges. 10s isnt bad for SF. but damn, 12-16 though for civi. shit and here i am complaning bout by 8 hr days sometimes. haha.

The NEX were always better than the AF and Army exchanges. Used to go to the one at the Naval Postgraduate School all the time.

Depends on location really. AF is normally the best on avg.
damn thats rough. always a sad day when you complain before it even starts
dis!!! Navy ones are hit and miss. San Diego had a nice one but its also a very large base. Also alot of retired people down there and it also covered marine bootcamp as well. Then theres the WA ones. the bremorton and everett ones just dont compare. but its hard to compare with the AF when they have a set order of how they build thier bases. Air strip first to bring supplies, Golf Course, pool, then everything else. which i do need to practice my swing and actually play a round before i leave this area. its a nice looking course

alot of our bases use to belong to other branches. plus we just bought a bunch of old AF planes to take over for our C-130s.

I didn't have any C-27Js in my wing.... In fact the c - 27 j is a superior aircraft to the C-130 Hercules that my unit had. And we didn't have the j model
