This was funny though, apparently Holosun doesn’t read the caption of posts they’re tagged in.

    The good: they emailed back
They supplied a return shipping label

The “meh”: I don’t like that they don’t send a confirmation email of either registering your product or submitting a warranty claim.

I also think 2 days from submission to hearing from them is less than ideal.

Damn, that blows. Good to hear they're gonna make it right. I'm following this pretty closely, I have a brimming idea on a P09 with a 507c and If they make it right I'll be sold on it.

Side note: Does anybody here do form 1 suppressors? I'm working on a move to a more friendly state, and will probably be picking up some equipment in the near future to do some, but have no idea on where to start WRT lathes/mills/drill presses.

Hey, so I just wanted to add that I just received a 510C and already have issues with it. I just put it on and no matter what I do I see four descending circles. Kinda disappointed since I just got it.

I can't seem to get a picture of it, but the sight that you see here is printed four times going down and left from the center.

    well that's very unfortunate.
Are you running other red dots? The only reason I ask is my Astigmatism messes with the dots on my guns and it's odd that you can see it but not get a picture of it happening.

*hopefully gonna make it right* I just printed off the shipping label and will return it Monday when I'm at lunch, hopefully I'll hear something good back.

I've used a Vortex spitfire before and never had a problem with it. I have pretty good vision so I'm confident in saying that's not what I think is the issue. I honestly didn't try very hard to get a picture of it so I can try that tomorrow.

That makes me wonder if they got a bad batch of laser assemblies.

I sure hope so. I'm gonna give it a go at the range tomorrow and if it continues to be a problem I'll have to let them know.

Wasn't sure where to look for help on this, so I thought I'd try here. If you have a better suggestion of where to get estimates for guns, please let me know.

Thinking about purchasing these three guns from my Aunt. Can anyone help me determine what a good price is? They're all pretty used, but in OK shape. We spent an entire day cleaning up around 150lbs of brass from the room. My Aunts boyfriend had taken to shooting them out the window during the last year at targets he put in the back yard (they have about 220 acres).

A S&W AR chambered in 556. Not a great scope but doesn't look too bad:
    AR1.jpg
    AR2.jpg

A small 410 guage side-by-side that would be great for my 10y/o son and for small game:
    410sidebyside1.jpg
    410sidebyside2.jpg

And a 20 guage over/under that would be a nice trap gun.
    20overunder1.jpg
    20overunder2.jpg

Thanks for any help. Let me know what you think of the gun choices. He has 5-6 ARs and about 100 other long guns and pistols. Kind of tough to weed through the really worn ones with so many and only about 30 minutes. I'll probably be heading back there to help sort and list all the guns next month to help her out. May find something good then, but the majority were (around 50 guns) were 22LR. There were some nice high accuracy 22LR pistols that may be interesting.

The AR is ~$600ish new. Looks like a cheapish Bushnell or Nikon scope. Can’t remember the cost of the scope but would guess the $100 range.

Is she trying to sell them or just inventory what’s there? Is he out of the picture? Might be legal issues if he’s still around.

If she is looking to sell them, contact a store like Cabela’s. They routinely go to places like that and will buy multiple guns from the same person. I’ve seen ours buy over 100 guns from one person.

prices are pretty low right now,so an $800-1000 AR is going for $450-600....you can kind of check against gun broker. To find similar firearms, pawn shop is going to give you half price if you are lucky, consignment will charge 20% of the current value

Has anyone had any success selling a rifle on gun broker? I have a Sig m400 that I never use and I want to free up some room.

I figure I'd get some actual feedback before going to the trouble of verifying my account.

I saw a S&W M&P Sport II AR for ~$540 with a red dot on reddit the other day. I'd ask somewhere in the $475 range for the rifle and scope.

No clue what a reasonable price would be for the shotguns.

I have never sold on Gun Broker, but have bought a couple.

Never had a problem - the seller's I dealt with helpful and easy to communicate with.

Update: I finally got the sight removed and packaged for shipping.
Red dot has re-appeared but has a slight double image (verified by another set of eyes) and had switched from auto mode to manual without anybody changing it.
Tough to get a good photo but you can see here how the outline is not round.

Not sure if there is any interest here, but I have these paracord slings that I’m not using. I made these 4-5 years ago and have no need for them anymore.

Each one has roughly 130’ of paracord
    Standard swivels
Tan one is 40.5” from swivel to swivel
Camo one is 36” swivel to swivel

Thinking $50 each shipped or $90 for both shipped.
