I was looking for a oem looking scangauge mount. I was really surprised I couldn’t find one on here especially with as many people that make their own stuff on here. I was looking on eBay, I came across a guy that made one for his land cruiser. I messaged him to get measurements or see if he could make me one. He was really cool and had no problem making one for me. I just had to send him my overhead council so he could see what he could do. He said it took him twice as long as on his land cruiser because of how tight of space it was. It came out great though as you can see. I wanted to give him a shout out cuz it was a absolute pleasure to work with him and I figured a lot of you would like this a lot I was updated the whole way through.

The way the mount is mounted is with 4 thumb screws. You will have to drill 4 holes and remove the tabs from the sunglasses holder hinge. You will also need to cut a hole in the council for the scanguage plug. The scanguage slides into the mount itself and is very secure.

The only thing idk is if the 12-15 are the same. So if someone can confirm this that would be nice.

You can get it off eBay here.

    Or email him at: zengxianpai@gmail.com

After everything it was like $75 but the blendmount is about the same price and this is way slicker.

    Very nice!

Make me feel inadequate with my $1 of velcro install.

Although it doesn't look all that bad, does it?

It really is slick. But not sure my 5 lug deserves it. :anonymous:

It’s not too bad. I was gonna go that route if I couldn’t find anything.

Will this fit in the rear sunglasses holder also? I have the Thermometer and Compass in the front one of my TRD Sport that I would like to keep.

Probably not. They are different sizes. You could email him I'm sure he would make you one. You would have to send him the center counsel so he could get all of his measurements.

Very nice! I dig the setup

I went with to the local $.99 store and bought 2 tape measure. Just used the belt clips off them and mounted the Scangauge. Cost was $2 bucks. 7 years later it's still holding

Looks like a good match, do you have the paint code for it?
