    Awesome, looking forward to 2.0.

    I went to setup up the new flashware program on my new computer and I’m stuck on the registering part. I have the original key I got sent in an email about a year and a half ago but I have no idea where to paste it. This new software instructions say to click the file sent to me but mine was just a bunch of groups of letter, I just pasted that in a box before, no actual file. I sent an email asking about this, I’m thinking maybe our dongled versions may need a different procedure? I can’t seem to find the box to paste the key in. Really looking forward to try 87 FOB, would like a break from putting in 91. CA gas prices are out of control.

    If you are dongle, the dongle is registered so you don’t have to go through that process again

    Really? So I just download the new flash ware and proceed with downloading/flashing the ECU?

    :) my first car was an 85 318i manual. Favorite car i’ve had to this day — probably helped by it being my first taste of freedom, but still

    Funny enough i later had an 85 325e - quicker to 60 by 2 seconds, a flat torque band — thing would happily do 1k up shifts - but didn’t beg to be revved (4500 redline!) like the 318, and it wasn’t as fun.

    How i wish these 3.5ls behaved like the 325e rather than the 318!

    Unless someone sells theirs.
    @SnowB
    People who sell or trade in their truck will sell their dongle kits. Then you just have to pay OVTune to register it.
    But if you buy a new tune kit, it’s dongle-less.

    So 2.0 beta seems pretty good. Power and mileage is up. Seems like I get a bit of a stumble when I’m taking a corner off a highway and step on it in second and then third gear to pull out of the corner. It’s like the throttle is bogged down a bit in that scenario. But then from a complete stop it seems to pull pretty smooth in second and third gear.

    Forgot to add, using 87 2.0

    Getting a $700 bonus form work.
    Should I buy the tune?
