I’m not saying the product doesn’t fit in this thread, because I think it does. But we can all do without the banter

Actually, that link doesn’t answer any of the question posted other than the home page. If you are viewing it on a phone, the navigation is even more difficult.

    Why the passive aggressive stance?

I found the answers to my questions after a hard scrub of the site. It’s not mobile friendly.

Do you own one of these campers? Is the truck being used in the photos yours?

Sharing information is what this community is about. Try it, it’s fun and it helps people get to know you better...

I did. Others did. Some still had questions and found answers after a lot of searching on their site. Is it really that hard to help fellow members with a quick answer?
Personally I'm not interested in that camper design. More is better of course. Kinda like information. Thanks sport.

Dude found a cool camper and posted the link here. I’d call that sharing.

I don't think it's out of bounds to ask someone follow up questions, but once they tell you they don't know an answer and they have no affiliation with a product or company, expecting that person to become a personal liaison and do research on your behalf because you dislike the user interface on a third party website seems a bit extra...

Saw on FWC IG they are doing a shell type of popup which sits on the bed rails. It will be more narrow than the newer slide ins. They either realized they are losing market share to the new wedge style campers or decided to compete with them. Glad to see them evolve a bit. More competition is a good thing.

I’ve seen a few stories, YouTube vids etc on this FWC pop up. In fact, in hindsight I even saw one of the prototypes but didn’t realize that it wasn’t just a normal FWC. It looks interesting and has some pro’s, as well as con’s, vs wedge-type pop ups. But I find it telling that the FWC execs who are interviewed in one YT video make no mention of the recent crop of shell type pop ups (GFC, Drifter, Habitat etc). They make it sound like it’s a new market, which they created, and with their reputation and marketing reach they may attract customers who never knew there is anything else. Not suggesting they’re doing anything shady, or that it won’t be a good product, but it’s really no different from the Ovrlnd, except in detail.

It isn't catching my interest. Still very boxy and less streamlined. I loved my Finch but have mentioned the pros/cons. Most of which are shared by other owners. If I were in the market for a FWC product again it would probably be another slide in. Being able to reduce the amount of dust is a primary factor for a slide in.

To think that this isn’t some what of an answer to the current shift in market trend seems a little ignorant on their part lol. At the same time I can see how FWC wouldn’t want to acknowledge the other up and coming campers to set themselves apart or keep their new camper in a different category. Either way glad to see they are working on something like this. I’m sure it will fit some people’s needs well!

    Yup...
I'd prefer the Habitat. Superior design IMO...
