Then don't buy it. Quit bitching about it. You should see enough positive reviews to prove the tune does what it says it does. Constantly crying about what you wish, isn't going to change things. I don't listen to a few negative reviews based on the thousands of other happy customers. Of course the ones with a complaint will be 1000 times louder. But from my experience on the page's, most of the complaints are because the person can't follow detailed instructions. Then it becomes the company's fault.

 

This thread goes to shit usually from the people that don't even have the tune. And assume the worst. If you actually listened to the people that have the tune, It would avoid a lot of heartache for you. Mathew has done wonders for us. And i hope he doesn't give up because of the people doing chargebacks since they can't follow directions. If your smart phone is confusing. Don't buy the tune.

 

Stated my side of it once and have been lashed at on numerous occasions since. Each comment afterwards was in defense of one statement. Seems as I should have never said something the first time about it. Hence where all the internet warriors come around. I’ll stay out of this thread and back to just reading for the time being since so many are this sensitive.

 

I'm definitely not sensitive, nor care about your opinion. But the complaining is getting annoying for the rest of us. If you don't want feedback that doesn't make you warm and fuzzy, then email ovtune directly with your pre purchase concerns. Or read about the other 1000s of happy customers and buy it.

 

I can respect this comment. As stated before though I’ll just remain dormant here on this topic. Sorry who all were wound up over something. Enjoy the time guys no bad intentions were my reasoning for posting.

Brandon, my offer still stands, if you’re willing to drive down to Baton Rouge, you can take my tuned truck out for a joy ride. Then you’ll see what it’s all about. Ahhhh yeaaaaa!

 

If you are anywhere near Georgia you can test drive my Tacoma and give yourself some warm and fuzzy feelings also.

 

Even if Toyota does fix some of the issues, the stuff OVtune has done is beyond what Toyota will ever devote enough time to accomplish. OVTune is a Warlock. Period

 

It wasn’t long ago I posted on this thread, bitching about how long things may take with the tune. I then realized my complaints were unfounded. I also realized that this thread was for the development of the tune, not the justification of it.

I took the risk and don’t regret it.

 

I put in a full tank of the new Mobil Synergy Supreme+ 93 octane today. Been running Mobil 87 octane. Want to see how the new 2.0 OLE beta handles the change. $54 to fill up-$2.89/gal. 87 octane was $2.09/gal. ($15/tank difference)

Looks like you might be in Alabama. There's several of us with the tune in Southeast Louisiana. My truck is stock except for the tune, I'm sure at least one of the others is big tires and exhaust etc. @Tac0Tic0

I tried to replicate that dead pedal everyone is talking about today on the interstate. I couldn’t. I was cruising at 70, came to a hill, pushed slowly on the accelerator, and after about an inch, it dropped down to 5th and went up the hill easily in 5th.
I’m 04B04, with heavy E rated 32” tires.

 

I think the preponderance of those with the issue are on 04A61.

 

If you do not mind telling what did you spend for the handheld?

 

He still offers it AFAIK, used it for the tune last year, used it for the tubes lask week.
