Morning guys

 

well from what i just read, AF took like 14-20 right from the factory for acceptance then thru them into storage cuz they changed their mind and didnt want them anymore. So we placed a bid on some to replace our older C-130s that needed to be scrapped.ive seen them fly a few times out and about. i like the blades on those compared to others. look more like swords.

yes sir.... and is it a duuuuuuzzzzzyyyyy. waiting to anchor later on so i can take some equipment offline and troubleshoot it. Our heading converter (Analog to Digital) keeps throwing a error code at me randomly so i keep having to adjust it. so i have to take it offline sometime today and check my inputs with a O-scope.

 

We have a nice AAFES here at Ft. Benning.

 

all the ones i have seen are awesome. mind you havent been to too many AF ones. mostly Navy ones. Ours on the CG base is tiny. but they are going to rebuild i next 3 yrs. portsmouth VA has a huge one off base which is nice, on par with normal exchanges.

 

The one we used to go to at Ellington AF base was tiny.

 

nice. thats what im use to but thats cuz most of ours are small. im excited for the new one thats bout to be built. just sucks cuz they are building it outside the fence to bring in more retirees and such. so adds a little more walk then what i do now. i normaly go daily to get some caffine and chit chat with the morning worker there. esp if she brings her pup in. little guy is so funny. unless he is trying to escape thru the door.

 

The one here is in a little mall with the PX on one end and Commissary on the other they had a couple shops in the middle. There used to be a hotdog place right outside the PX that made a great dog. They’d steam them and everything. Haha

 

I just looked and realized they built a new PX that’s bigger than the old commissary. The old PX used to be on the bottom end of the mall on the right of this pic. The building below that was the bowling alley. The new one is across the street now. Damn would I love to be able to get in there and look around.

 

well if i ever visit, might have to make a trip

I've got 4 pages of guns to look up. One of my doc's dad passed a few months ago and was a big gun nut. I told him I would figure out what they were worth. He told me I have first choice of what they decide to get rid of. I told him that I wouldn't get rid of any of them if it were me.
