Nice. Looks like clean work. Did Rock Solid do it?

Thanks! Not sure which part you're referring to. The shift boots, and FJ case are from Wyatt. I did the install and am currently working on the cutting brakes. We'll see if they end up working out.

I'm curious to see if you find them useful in the rocks or whether you'd pass if you had it to do over. Either way it's a super clean install and I'm sure your one of the few with cutting brakes. I thought about those and a rear disconnect but ended up going with neither. There has been a few occasions where both would have come in handy. lol

Yeah. That's the plan. Still working on making it all fit and work properly while still looking good.

They are not operational yet. Still mocking things up and seeing if it can be executed in a tasteful way. I agree that the use is very limited, but I would have used them on more than a few occasions. A rear disconnect was also something I looked into but seems like it's not an option at the moment.

Definitely get one. It will help extend the life of the oem mount and keep the sticks from torquing all over in the cab

has anyone been rebuilding their FJ tcases with new bearings? The FJ case I picked up has 175K on it going into a truck with around 100K. I was going to replace the seals at a minimum but wondered if I should bite the bullet and do a more extensive overhaul. Nothing appears to be bad.

Yours has about twice the milage as mine. Everything looks pretty solid so I was just going to leave it as-is. "If it ain't broke" kind of thing.

    Hell yeah! That's awesome news!

Did you tell them you have a manual or did that just get overlooked?

    Hell yes it is!

I cancelled my original order, waited a few days, bought an automatic with the Hot-August coupon. Saved $220. Don't know/don't care if anyone noticed lol

A paper weight that you could sell for more then you paid for it. Not that you will.
