Trying to stay away from dealers any help appreciated

    My 17’ 3.5 truck has decided to want to govern itself at 75. I learned that when I tried to pass a guy in Florida not too long ago on vacay. My truck has a tune on it so I’d like to stay away from dealers. And it’s not pulling timing due to detonation from a low octane gas. It just noses over and once it drops below 77 it starts reaccelerating again just like it did with the normal governer. The tune I’m running is rated for 87 octane and I’m running 91 octane ethanol free gas in it. Ive come on here to ask if there is any sort of way I can raise or remove the governer in hopes of fixing the issue. I haven’t seen anyone with this issue nor have I heard of this happening to anything.

    Update, I think I have a solution to this. I feel really dumb. A dogs ball beneath the gas pedal does it...
