What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed these in the back doors today. Took about an hour. Got two sets of these speakers last year, day after thanksgiving sale for $39 each set with mounting brackets and wiring harness and free shipping. Also picked up boom mats for cheap, for a Toyota whatever either RAV4 or Camry. Wasn’t sure at the time. I forgot all about them till I started looking for something else...I got these from Crutchfield back then.

 

Went camping. Words cannot express how much I love this beautiful state of Colorado.

 

Btw today I tried this and my little girl was able to ride on her own and even starting to do some turns. Now I just have to teach her to slow down properly using her foot break. Again thanks for the helpful tip.

What suspension you running ?

 

just an oil change and wash job. I'll do the camshaft swap and new engine tune soon. rear mid travel in 2 weeks, front mid travel in a month.

 

but years end I hope to have some utube time and dyno work. just time and money.

 

My problem is that I have lots of time and no $$$$$.

 

Replaced this leaky plastic bypass pipe with the updated metal version. Also swapped out radiator hoses, water pump, thermostat and replaced the belt as well

 

I spent the whole day detailing inside and out. Literally! I even did a much needed clean around the emblems. ...all ready for new tires tomorrow morning!

 

just do what I do and live a completely unbalanced life. I live to make an absolute monster of a truck. it's an expensive commitment but I'm happy every day.
surprise is my current lady is very supportive of my goal. she doesn't know what 500hp costs but she's there for me. two reliable fun things this life is. yes folks. I'll have both.

Raingler sells an install kit with the loft. It includes anchored rings for the front and 2 anchors with web retainers for where those hanger hooks are mounted. Very solid.

 

Finished putting the truck back together.

AC system is holding vacuum so looks like its fixed now and I just need to get the system charged.

 

finally got around to derping all the badges and gas door, removed the bed side decals and buffed the fog out of the headlights. pics when the sun comes back up

Washed the truck and fluid filmed the frame.
Also went and bought new spark plugs and 80-90w to do all the fluids... But ran out of motivation so here she sits.

 

Which fluid film did you use? Considering using that on my “medium rusty” frame. No holes in it, so Toyota won’t replace it.
