Anyone had any experience changing a "throttle sensor" to eliminate the unresponsiveness during low speed acceleration?

You will need some way to calibrate it.

    In order of cost:

    • Turn on ECT (there's a kit available to have it come on every time you start the truck).
    • Pedal Commander, or similar product. These are basically just throttle input multipliers, but they do provide better throttle feel.
    • Orange Virus tune. This will give you better throttle response along with a host of other benefits.

I just installed the Sprint Booster V3 night and day difference I actually smoked the tires for the first time without trying. A little pricey $289 delivered

    Cool.

I really wish I could undo the software update that caused that problem to begin with (pedal recall). What a dumb thing to do.

I installed the sprint booster and at the setting sport 4 it’s awesome. You don’t have to press the pedal half way down to get the truck to respond. Just a little movement Of your foot and the it takes off. Highway driving is enjoyable now. Best $300 I’ve spent.

that bandaid fix wore out for me the day OV tune came out and provided an actual fix rather than a bandaid. but it did indeed keep me from selling the truck. if you're ever not fully satisfied with that workaround, there is a proper solution waiting for you.

No doubt the OV tune is better, I’m glad you like it. I’ve heard nothing but good things.
