My driveway has more manuals than autos. I think my double cab is the only auto right now until one of our roommates returns.

My buddy had his sister ride with me on our CO trip since he has a single cab F250. She had never driven an auto before or used cruise control. Blew my mind.

Eh. Doesn’t surprise me. My girlfriend was perplexed by my tacoma when we first started dating. She had only ever driven manuals. Now I can’t get her to drive a manual again

I drive my wife's Accord a lot and it's an auto, what I really can't stand about autos is the delay in downshifting when you need more power. It almost always takes a few seconds and sometimes it won't respond to more throttle at all until you mash the pedal and then it decides to drop a gear. Drives me nuts, I can only imagine what it must be like with modern day autos and 8+ gears. Probably the opposite, too much shifting

The down shift delay does suck.

But a shift kit gets that sorted out real quick.

Ya I mean her Accord is pretty old and I imagine newer auto transmissions are more intuitive and advanced. I just like knowing exactly what to expect

Modern autos suck. I hate 8 speeds especially. Although it is neat the new Camry can do 100mph at 1900 rpm

You said t4r yesterday man - you meant a 2.7? :turtleride: Supercharger should affect your mpgs if the skinny pedal gets more love because you feel a little more like gunning it. Just drive a cross over for the mpgs and storage space and keep the truck

I just got back from St Louis area yesterday
which interstate did you take to get out of there?

the first one I went on was the i64 towards Louisville, the road conditions on the IL side was horrific, hope you did not spill your coffee drive or whatever you had, i was cringing waiting for my suspension to implode :( and stranded in East St Louis next to the graffiti

even the i70 bridge, which is a fairly new structure (10yrs maybe?), was total garbage, newish pavement should NOT be that condition
