:pccoffee: Well made it to another Monday morning.

Welcome did my twilight tour in Asheville before retiring from the Navy in 95. Moved to Mn. in 99. Covered WNC, lived in Arden. I left a ruff grouse or 2 behind for breeding, but not many to start with.

When I first moved there the FS was trying to decide what to do with the ATV traffic that was just starting to explode back then and where to let them and other vehicles. So they just shutdown many of the trails to all vehicles, opened a few for hunting season. Still a lot of FS roads to travel though. Superior National Forrest here isn't a lot different. USFS seems to have a hard time staying up with who can go where though.

We moved here from Wisconsin in 1982, still love everything except the relentless population growth. Much has changed in that time. I spent much of my youth in northern Wisconsin and it has changed far less up there.
