    I posted in one thread about me liking to preserve my night vision so a dome light selectable between red/white and/or a slider dimmer switch built in would be nice. MESO responded it was in the works.

    Do you have and of his products? Just the map lights are plenty bright so you could just leave your dome light off and use only the maps. Only time I see that not working is digging around down low in the back of a double cab.

    I don't because I don't want to be blinded every time I open the door. I bought some led's replacement bulbs to get the cleaner/whiter light. If he comes out with a dome that is red/white selectable I will get that. Then keep it on red unless I am digging around looking for something.

    Fairly certain you can obtain the tags without the inspection. The DMV told me they could care less about the inspection and that it was a state police thing.

    Edit: I should note that I still got the inspection first...you know, just because.

    Excellent, maybe I’ll try. We just tagged my wife’s car here and online it said we needed a state inspection, so that’s why I thought that. Worst case they’ll turn me away.

    When I plated my vehicles after moving from NC, I went to show them my inspection paperwork for proof and that's when they told me it was only a requirement for the SP. Who knows, I was just following the same website you are.
