Ok the band clamps go over the little notches in the mount and the actual mounts bolt to the top of the frame just behind the forward shock mount like this. Here’s a couple pics of my old setup.

Just behind the bump stop plate on the frame there is a small bracket holds a wiring harness. One of the bolts has threads welded into the frame looks like that’s where it will bolt to.
Undue bolt slide mount on install new longer bolt. There may be a free hole with no bolt in it that has threads already just gotta reach and feel for it. If I had hands on with it I could pinpoint it.

Okay. I will take a look and see what you’re talking about. I am also looking to install the airbag set up I just bought recently so I’m wondering if these will interfere. I need to lay it all out and see what actually goes where. Also, are the shocks side specific or can either go on either side?

Usally it’s universal as long as the hose points backwards you’ll be fine. I don’t see why the airbags wouldn’t be compatible since it’s on the axle/inside frame.
Ask Kenny for a pic of them mounted on his that’ll give you a way better idea than my rambling.

Oh snap looks like they mount to the bottom or outside of frame never noticed that. You might be able to bend the hoses but I wouldn’t risk it since they are already straight. The kings were already curved.

I believe the hoses are braided flexible hoses. I’ll confirm here in a few minutes.

I got icon resi’s, I had to drill a hole in the frame rail for the brackets to bolt on. There’s probably a pdf file through toytec

Not sure yet. I’m thinking maybe bumper(s)?

I still need to install stuff I have in the shop. Ditch lights, bed lights, diff breather mod.

I still feel like I will end up needing to replace the steering rack but I decided to wait until it’s 100% that that is the problem.

I don’t know how to explain it more than there is a really loose shaking feeling in the front tires that translates through into the steering wheel when I’m going over washboard roads and small repetitive bumps like when I am driving out to the deer lease and I’m on oil field roads. I can grab the tires at 3 and 9 and there’s play back and forth. If I lock the steering wheel the play goes away. Like I said, I don’t know what it is exactly so I’m just waiting for it to get worse and show itself clearly I guess

:goingcrazy:I’ve heard of this may just be the bushings starting to have some play. There is a ployurathane kit for it but I read the install it’s a major PIA. Ya I’d wait till she blew.
