MAN CARD VIOLATIONS

If that's the qualifier, at least I can say I'm a real man.

 

Being flat broke doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t manage your finances. It just means you don’t have enough income to meet your financial obligations and any number of reasons could contribute to that situation. You do the best you can, and sometimes the fact that you dealt with it, survived and still prevailed does make you a real man.

I’ve been there, as I’m sure many folks here have...

 

I forgot to mention our higher billeting quality standards and horrible choices in dress uniforms. Momma didn't raise no uniformed bullet-stopper. Then I ended up in combat comm. "I run computers! I fix radios! Why are they shooting at us?!?!?"

Then I got into cyber warfare where our motto was "why blow it up when you can turn it off?" It's all fun and games until you plug your shit into the Internet.

 

I know, just joking around a bit. I've been broke in both scenarios. One thing I CAN'T forgive: still drinking Keystone just because you're used to it.

 

Ok that part I’m definitely down with.

 

Drinking Keystone (or any cheap beer for that mattter) is easy. Kill the first one quickly and the rest go down easy.

Of course now that I have ample funds... drinking Keystone allows me extra cabbage for things like truck mods.

 

worst beer Ive ever had, Old Milwaukee best light in a keg. Some dumbass pilot brings it in to our maintenance area as a "thank you" for the hard work all of us mechanics do/did. Beer was horribly skunked..I spit it out...

 

Pilots are idiots. Smart enough to fly airplanes, not smart enough to fix their 1100 CC motorcycles.

 

Used to be sold at Safeway. Bad news beer. If your buddies had a few quarters apiece you could get a couple sixers.

 

Using drano on clogged pipes instead of disassembling and clearing by hand!!

 

All this craft beer BS. If PBR was good enough for my pops and uncles, it's good enough for me!!

 

Ain't nothing wrong with Drano when it's called for. Many times I've cleared out everything else that the 36" brush snake didn't (i.e., the wife's hair).

 

The wife drops about a Yak load of hair down the drain every month. I'm not taking pipes apart that often.

Once worked for a very large mechanical contractor(pipe fitting and plumbing) in a large city. Man the shit I've seen. Some stories will make you cringe
