The Overland Bound Meet up in Ripon is happening today at 1pm. Mountain Mike’s.

We start with lunch and a meeting to discuss the Plumas NF trip and to plan out dates for the fall and winter. I’m going to load up my truck since we leave Friday for Plumas NF as well.

Ugh ..Wasnt talking about being fans of them outside of the cage. I am a big fan of them inside the cage. Their boxing and BJJ is superb, some of the best in the world. Geesh, just trying to throw out a positive message that your local fighter beat one of the top ten in the world after a 2 year lapse with no fights.

 

He is a good fighter, i don’t argue that and i like watching him fight. But This is not the first time i have heard this comment from people in this area.
Just because he is a good fighter doesn't mean he is a good person. I tend to respect people by the way they treat people.

 

Super happy for Nate, I've been a fan going way back to TUF. He might be ghetto trash, but he's our ghetto trash, and there are way more scummy people in the UFC and fighting in general. I mean It's not like he just sucker punched an old dude for not drinking his whiskey or anything. I was super sad to see DC lose, I like both him and Stipe a lot and they're probably two of the best guys in the UFC, but DC's a local guy so he'll always score a bit higher.

 

My comment was an attempt at being positive and reflected your statement in bold. Thats all. I don't know anything about how he treats people, nor was my comment about respecting him outside of the ring or if he was a good person.

Apologies if my attempt at a positive comment about a local fighter winning was taken the wrong way. How about I bow out here and we drop it. No need to waste any more time on the subject. I dont see any good coming from it. Its Monday afterall, plenty of other shit to get mad at.

 

Don't sweat it. I for one enjoy the UFC talk, and not everyone is going to like every fighter.

 

Funny I’ve always thought that all of UFC, fans, fighters, popcorn vendors at the events were trash.....
