I looking for some quick info. I've read tons on fitment for wildpeaks but honestly the more I read the more I confuse myself.

I'd like to put 265/70/17 on my stock sport wheels on my totally stock truck. Will it rub???

I'm not worried about the mud flaps, I won't loose sleep over losing those. I'm more worried of rubbing things I can't change easily like the control arms.

    Thanks for the help!

Assuming stock rims - yes they will fit fine

Those will fit and you won’t rub.

Was just reading this thread.
I have 265/75/16 on a ~2" lift. Had a little rub on the drivers, but fixed that. :sawzall:
I think you should be fine though.

Just went with this size on my 2018 Sport. No rubbing with stock lift.

Thanks but I'm looking for users with stock sport rims.

    I do like those though!

I talked to someone at Discount Tire a few weeks ago, and he said about 90% of Tacoma owners who get Wildpeaks end up coming back.

I really want them, but I'm worried I'll run into issues like many others have.

Do you have stock wheels? I wonder if it's mostly an issue with those.

Since op got such a great crowd response… how about same tire, same rims, same model (sport), stock BUT with 1.25 spidertrac spacers?

I'd think it would work if total stock works

Thanks, I’m not sure if pushing the tire out will cause it to be closer to anything it wasn’t previously (like the air dam, inner fender etc) if anyone else has thoughts or can confirm on their ride?

I thought it was crazy the 265/65r17 were $25+ more per compared to 265/70 r17. So this thread popping up saved me from asking a repeat question … thanks op

Now if I could get a solid confirmation I may just buy them earlier than planned and try to sell the stockers to recoup a little
