ok my trucks got a coolant leak for the very first time, not sure why, maybe from 1000+ miles of high speed driving this weekend?
.. was checking the oil and some spitshining and noticed a little red puddle on the TB cover under the top hose, ran my finger under the hose and it was all wet!

Is that one of the skids that 22rethan sells on here? Looks good, I was close to buying one a couple years ago but came across a good deal on a Budbuilt set locally

If it's leaking from the hose, check the hose clamp that holds it on the radiator...mine got loose on a road trip last winter and starting making a mess of coolant everywhere. I think I got the hose replaced too...had a shop do it since we were out of town when it happened. But it was an easy fix, just that clamp and the hose, and they pressure tested the radiator to make sure it was ok. Assuming that's what you're describing, not 100% sure

i did have every drop of 22yr old coolant flushed out of the entire system a couple months ago, there was some pink stuff (looks like caulking) oozing out (dried now) on the top hose by the radiator, I suppose that is some sort of sealer? .. I did not notice the same stuff on the other end
I had adjusted the clamp from where ever they left it to match up with the indentations on the hose that was already there , this may or may not be the original hose (12yrs ago is hard to remember anymore if it got a new hose or not then with new water pump)

@ThunderOne I had the same problem for awhile, turned out that i wore a grove into the yoke from where the seal rides( if my nomenclature is correct ).
slung oil all around the undercarriage. I also rebuild my re-end not to long ago due to a whine i was experiencing on decel, it was my inner pinion bearing. But i replaced both inner and outer. I'd also check the mesh of your new gears, i usually just use a bit of anti-seize on ring and check the pattern to make sure it looks right.
