Did you lift? My 2019 TRD Pro was bone stock +25 wheel set and no rubbing.

My 2017 had 0 offset and 2” lift and didn’t rub.

My 2019 Cement with +25 offset and 2.5” lift doesn’t rub.

FYI - Tacoma TRD Pro wheels are 16x7" w/+12mm offset, aka 4.5" backspacing.

Ran 285's on mine for years and stock suspension, no problems or major cutting/trimming involved. Have since upgraded.

If I'm not mistaken, last I saw, it was confirmed the TRD Pro is the same height as all other Tacomas. A guy compared side by side his stock Taco (OR or SR don't remember) a stock TRD Pro both 3rd Gen. Both were exactly the same height.

That’s incorrect. My TRD Pro was 1” taller in the front and rear. You could fit 285/75R16’s on the TRD Pro without lifting at all. They would not fit on my TRD OR. Both were 2019’s.

I've got those exact same wheels on my OR. I'm really considering running some 285's do you have any pics from the front? I'd like to see how much they stick out with the TRD Pro wheels.

i run 285/70/r17 (17x8) ko2s, had some rubbing when i turned the wheel all the way to the left or right. trimmed just a little bit of plastic with a dremel tool and the rubbing stopped. after all it's just plastic and you can barely tell it was trimmed, you would have to bend down and inspect it

You should see how many MX bikes he's been through on the Vital forum, dude is either loaded or drowning in debt, think he's a parts manager or something at Ridenow.

Hardly indecisive, just single and bored.

In all fairness, I was Yamaha up until 2016 when I decided to snag a SX150 and then in 2017 with the Honda, but last bike was the 19 YZ250F, I'm mostly a blu cru guy.

All of them, Taco's my friend. Don't have a picture of my cement in there too.

Deployment money, probably should have invested some more into retirement or real estate, but the moto bug bit me good for awhile, was fun for sure, definately mental.

No sir. Over 2 years. And I traded the 2017 in on the TRD Pro. Then wife took it and we traded her car in on my Cement.

Any more updates? I’m getting serious about upgrading tires on my pro , so have been looking at mine closely and don’t see how I could fit 285/75 or even 255/85s without cutting ..maybe w/ an adjustable UCA, but that’s more $$ I don’t want to spend right now...
