I have the trd pro kit now on my truck, but I ran this setup for a while stock and had no rubbing.

Just installed the Falken AT3W LT265/70R17. Thankfully we're getting slammed right now with snow and freezing rain, so got to test them. Holy crap they stick to the ground amazingly. I haven't been able to back into my driveway for a few weeks now in 2wd due to the ice and snow, have been having to use 4wd. Well, tonight was the first time I've been able to do it flawlessly in 2wd, no slipping.

Will need to take the heat gun to the rear side of inner fenders, as they're rubbing a slight bit at about 1/2 turn left/right. Easy fix. Extremely pleased.

Nice! Post some pics when you get a chance. I am not a fan of Falken tires myself (have had several bad experiences) but they do make a good looking tire.

Will do. Was dark when they were finally on, and heading into surgery tomorrow. So probably won't be for a couple days till I'm back up and moving again. I'll make sure to grab a couple though. They look really good. Definitely better in person than the photos I've seen on these forums.

was this with stock suspension and 1.25 spacers? I see it’s stock rims and you were still rubbing on the inner fenders

I believe this was with the 2" lift, and wheel spacers. I did it all around the same time, so I'd have to go back and look at the timeline, honestly don't remember. I was still rubbing ever so slightly when I hit hard bumps at 50% turn, so a few weeks ago, went to the dealership, and had them push the casters forward 1.5degrees, and problem is 100% solved now. No more rubbing no matter how hard I hit anything, and tires are still amazing, especially offroad and in mud. Completely amazed with these, and recommend them to everyone.

Oh, and if not mentioned before, I run them at 32psi. They've got roughly 10k miles on them, no signs of wear at all outside of normal wear and tear. Think they were 16/32ths for my oil change last week? Been towing, offroading, lots of highway, mudding, slight rock climbing, and been completely happy.

Ah shit then, may just have to stick with the stock tire size 265/65r17, stock rims and 1.25 spacers.

I really don’t want the chance of rubbing. Thanks

You should be fine with the 4 or 6 ply in the bigger size. 10ply is 6/32 larger

Yes, due to the sharp rocks we have here in Maine, and some job sites I go to. Needed the extra protection. Haven't heard any complaints from the 4/6ply tires.
