That's good to hear. I know that my truck is way more capable than me, sliders, full aluminum skids, stock locker, and the wrangler duratracs. The only things against me are the lack of a lift, long dog bed, and experience.

After looking at your general location, I’m sure was on some of these trails in June

I'm intrigued by this "stocker run" I've got sliders, skid trio, and 265'75/16's.. I don't mind some pin striping as I've got that, but I'd prefer to not have to buy a bumper yet - suspension is up next!

You are more than built enough for the stocker run. Heck you could do the moderate run. For the stocker runs, any Taco with skids can do it fine. Even a stock Taco could do those roads with an experienced driver behind the wheel. As I said before, after the run is over that group will probably venture into some harder terrain too. Come on over and sign up!

You can count me in if another truck is no big deal. Just put my new rack and pinion in so i'm looking to test it out on the trails.

I'm hearing that they are really hot on the market right now, so much that dealerships are offering people quiet a bit of money to buy them back and re-sell for even more!

Out of curiosity I looked at used ones for the wife's next possible vehicle. 2014s were 30k+

    FJ is best gen taco.

Loved my first gen and miss it, but the FJ is basically point and shoot. Very little drama Wheeling on 33s with like 1.5" lift front and rear.

Also, ya the values of used late model run ones are just crazy. As much or more than new with like 40k miles on them. Not sure how much I could get with 230k on my pile but definitely more than most cars with that mileage

They gave me 7k on trade for the dcsb with 225k. Your rear suspension setup is better factory for wheeling than Tacomas
