If you got 5100's, here are all the spring rates for the OME springs:
    • OME 883: 375mm in height, 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 884: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 885: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 886: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
    • OME 887: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 888: 405 mm in height 590 pound spring rate
I have the 885 and those are perfect for me but I don't have a front bumper. You would want to go to the 886's. I have a rear aal right now but will be changing to a full pack soon. I don't have a rear bumper like you but I do have a shell so there is added weight back there. The aal does help and is fine for now but I know it will need to be replaced once it starts to sag.

edit: someone had some 886's on here not too long ago for cheap. They might still be available.
@KaptainH I believe had them. You should change out just the springs first and using your current shocks and see what that yields.

And there ya go...lol. yea that looks about right with the 660# again you can always start on lower settings and see where it sits. This is definitely a less expensive route to go for the front.

Yeah, Ive just seen with some of the more expensive and complex suspension setups (Kings, Icon) that people have them rebuilt often it seems. Whats the difference between the 5100 and 6112?

edited my post after you quoted but someone else had some 886's for sale here you could see if they were still available. If you're shocks are still good, you could just put 886's on the current OME shocks you have and see how that goes.

    5100 is a 2" shock, 6112 is a 2.5".

I may be wrong, digging deep into the memory bank...you can't preload 5100 on OME springs?? If that's the case, no point in getting the 5100 as your OME shocks are the same nitro charged setup as billies

Cool just saw the edit. @KaptainH, the 886 still available? My shocks should still be fine, so this is definitely an option

What benefits are there with a 2.5 over a 2 shock?

Ah i see what you are saying. Why couldnt you preload the 5100 with OME springs, horrible ride quality I'm assuming? Assuming different spring design/type huh

Stronger, has a bigger piston shaft. Also more fluid so they cool better.

So it looks like for the front, I should start with some OME 886's and see how that performs.

You can if you want but it is highly recommended not to and advised by Bilstein not to also.

If you're front shocks are still good, then this would be the cheapest route to go for a solution. Do you have stock UCA's?

    Noted.

Awesome, this is more than likely what I will shoot for first then. Still going to pull off some numbers off my current setup, just to see what springs are currently on it. I do not, I have SPC UCA's

That sounds like a good start, for the rear you could do the Dakar medium pack and see how that goes as well, I remember the 5160 having a good range of travel, not sure about the OME rear shocks.

oh nice, then you really aren't limited much to what combo you would like to try up front to give the max height you can. If you do have to buy 886's new, the wheeler's off road vendor will give you a discounted price shipped if you PM him here. If that's the route you go, I'm sure I can find him screen name somewhere as I've gotten quotes from him also. Or you can wait around forever until ebay does 15% off on all items. That's when I got my 5100's and the 885 springs.

Not sure how long your OME shocks are but if you do move to a bigger pack, you may have to get longer shocks. I added a bigger shackle to a 4in spring and shock combo in the past. The shock was extended to it's max and became the limiting factor on travel. It was no fun at all having your shock be the thing that is keeping your suspension from cycling it's full amount.
