Their results on mpg is interesting. Have you noticed anything similar with improved mpg ?

    Good.
I put an A&A centrifugal supercharger on my 05 Vette a few years ago and it was a breeze.
Made 636rwhp at 12psi and a single meth nozzle.

I thought so too, but if you drive with a heavy foot due to the lack of power availability, I could imagine some increased MPG's. Could be wrong, but MPG's would just be an added bonus.

Don't make any at all, That's just opening a can of worms. Have you seen how people react to MPG discussions on FB???!

I would let your test users share their experiences with MPGs vs making any claims directly. Driving style makes it too subjective IMO.

the MPG topic gets brought up all the time whenever someone or a group of people are considering forced induction. The on paper correct answer is, sure...you could see an increase in MPGs since technically a forced induction engine is running more efficiently. But the real world answer is that 99% of you will see a decrease in MPGs because boost = fun, and the more fun you have with the skinny pedal the less MPG you're going to see

Also once again, the cost of 91 - 93 octane gas will offset any slight increase you might see anyway. Don't factor MPGs into the equation when considering boost IMO, if it's that much of a consideration then you will probably be disappointed

The likelihood of people seeing noticeable increases are low because they’ll all be doing their best Paul Walker / Vin Diesel impressions and mashing the skinny pedal to pound that boost.

The 1.05 - 91 base tune has given me an extra 3mpg avg (not kidding), so REALLY looking forward to seeing what a supercharger will do! Tesla who? (kidding)

I would be happy to not loose any mpg. Talking 75mph on the highway with the CC on. Better or worse is all I need to know. Just like the power-band, I'd be happy to move the power I have down lower. This is my DD after all.

If it’s like any of the FI cars / trucks I’ve had in the past, you can easily maintain, or even get slightly better fuel mileage if driven conservatively. Emphasis on “conservatively.” As soon as you start laying into the throttle and pushing any meaningful amount of boost, mileage drops. After all, it takes a significant amount of energy to accelerate, and when you’re adding boost to the mix that means you’re also adding more fuel to maintain appropriate AFR. In simplest terms, more power = more fuel. Can you get better fuel mileage? Yes. Will most people see better mileage? Probably not, because they will likely be driving in a spirited fashion getting the most out of their $5k+ investment.
