The 1st gen is Paul's old truck. Who bought it? I know the guy that bought it from Paul was selling it on CL.

A guy on my base. Super cool guy and he wants to wheel it and take that massive amount of preload out of it.

Yeah, way too much pre-load. It doesn't wheel too well (which is why it was sold IIRC) but I think most of that was the pre-load.

Considering selling my dakars and going to deavers. If I do, is anyone interested in them? Currently built as medium duty but I have two pairs of AAL that I will include. I can also assemble them as HD or super HD. They're the new dakar model with maybe 15k miles on them. Still in great shape, would like a little smoother ride in the rear. Would ask $450.

How the hell is everyone doing? I was cleaning out my toolbox and found a set of cab mount chop plates if anyone wants them. Free to whoever comes and picks them up....

Sooooo I managed to tear a hole in one of my tires today. Rather than buy a new spare, I think I’ll just get 35s.

Anyone wanna buy 4 295/70r17 Cooper mtp with about 2/3 tread? $300. They have some character but they’ve treated me well.

Hate that it had to be these circumstances brother, but I'm glad you're making the jump with me. :D

@EatSleepTacos what gears are you going with/already have installed? Also, what size 35's are you thinking?

Been thinking about making the jump myself, but can't seem to justify it. Curious about your plan though

I already have 4.88. For a second gen manual transmission, 4.56 and 35s is a nice pairing. I purposefully over geared since it’s not my DD and I wanted the slightly lower ratio off road. Top speed suffers (turning 3k rpm at 68 mph) but I just cruise at 65.

I need to look around and price stuff out but I’ll just be going with 315/70r17. Likely the cooper stt pro due to the beefy sidewall.
