Ever since Tool gave permission for their music to be streamed a couple weeks ago, Staind's cover of 'Sober' keeps coming up on my Pandora station and my god did he murder that song, lol. I like Aaron Lewis but he needs to leave Tool alone.

I like this live version even if it isn't as good as the radio one, his voice is sounding pretty beat these days

Didn't he quit Staind to go solo as a country music artist for several years? I remember hearing that he was playing that annual country festival that's like Coachella but for hillbilly hipsters instead

yeah he's been doing country music for like 8 years now. I'd be surprised if you haven't heard this one, it used to get a lot of radio time on the local rock stations when it came out...granted I lived in a more rural area haha

That feeling when all the parts you need to fix your weird old car are in your friends garage. I got a spare maf, spare computer, spare head temp sender, and spare injection harness. Firing the parts cannon has never been cheaper. Oh and I got a turbo and turbo manifold too. But that's for later.

I went to visit my mom the other day, only to be reminded that there's still a transmission and other odds and ends.

The transmission (seen in the far back corner) is to an RX7 FD that I used to have, as well as Corvette parts, brakes, lines, etc. in multiple boxes. Even found a catless downpipe for an SRT4 since I had done an SRT4 swap into a non-SRT neon.

And yes, the extra Corvette still lives in her garage :crapstorm:

Bought it stock when I moved back to CA in 2010.

I had just gotten divorced so my FD was my "toy". Went from non-sequential mod, to all out single turbo, top mount intercooler, swapped the rear end from an auto (shorter gear ratio), and more.

Got'dam car was fast and scary when it built up boost.

Here's another toy I had (2015); really I bought it as a daily driver to keep the miles low on one of my Corvettes only to go all out with a big turbo, big as hell CP-E intercooler, Tial BOV, externally gated, catless downpipe, and even a tow hitch :crapstorm:

Last picture is the stock turbo I pulled out; major difference.

Same user name on Focusst.org if you look up my old threads.

    Oh trust me, huge difference!

I would find excuses to go to San Jose for E85 since I had a 91 tune, E30, and E85 only tune.

I got rid of the car because I had decided to just have Corvettes only lol I love turbo cars, but I always have to have a V8..or a few.

Had a few track cars as well; had to go through my Photobucket to find the pictures -

    20140717_154112_zps4731f117.jpg

The Miata was a base model with manual windows, locks, and no power steering. I put a Jackson racing supercharger in that thing. Already had Wilwood's from the previous owner as well as the Enkei wheels (not my favorite).

The mustang was a Bullitt I bought from a collector. Had a buddy weld in strong subframe connectors, and got all new suspension (forgot what kind?), as well as upgrading the brakes and going to an all-square setup with Nitto 555's all the way around.

The Mustang was my girl's car before I bought her a new 5.0
