I'm local the rest of the week. After that I'm in MD next week and Boston the week after so if either of you are in a rush this would be the week to grab it.

Yeah, it'll be cool. It's one handed and just swings out. I've had enough w/ fighting this thing on windy days.

I'd be down to do the work too, or help at least. That's a simple setup so anybody here that knows the trucks can help. Up to 2.5 lift or less than 285 tire you don't NEED Ucas, but it doesn't make for as easy of an alignment job. Compared to having ucas which makes alignment a breeze. So if you got the dough go for it!

I remember seeing something about 885 coils not being designed for 3rd gens. Headstrong changed their website a little (at least mobile one) so I can't find that chart. But there is a pdf in here that doesn't specify those coils for 2016 and up Tacomas.

Also, as mentioned above, aftermarket UCAs might not be necessary for a mild lift, but could be useful in the long run....

    Good luck with your choice!

Edit. I just looked at complete kits, and apparently they specifiy 885 coils for 3rd gens. :notsure:
I think I just got myself confused...

Good luck with it, looks awesome. Something I may look in to down the road.

Wow I don’t know what to say, you guys are awesome. I’m a total noob with suspension so I’d greatly appreciate the help guys!! I am seriously considering the UCAs, have to do some more research on them. Any recommendations for budget friendly ?

Thanks for the info, going to do a little more research to see which I’m going to go with.

How much is a new caliper man? I know I would’ve thrown that one across the garage by now and on my way to the parts store.

What’s the 180? You mean 270? Does it need legs for support?
The only 270 I would consider is the Alu-cab do to it being leg less. Wouldn’t wanna have to stake all the legs down and my dog if leashes would just get tangled. Also loosing function of the awning room is beat.
