This is part of my concern as well. Mine will be shot by 30K.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Had 265/70r17 on aftermarket wheels, stock suspension. No running except the air dam, which got removed anyways. 2.5” lift now, same times, no issues

They are 265 65 17s but if you go up to a 70 it won’t make any difference and won’t rub.

Oh man! Ive never had issues. My friend who owns a tire shop says they're a relatively new tire brand. I did notice that my tires have a lot of those balancing blocks that they stick to the rims. Maybe has to do with the tires being a little off.

That’s what I was thinking, it’s the my leds broke my truck all over again

I’m sure there are some with manufacturer defects as anything goes but tires add another person to the equation and how many are in the mindse
that sucks- what’s the date of manufacture compared to purchase date? I know when I researched tires on my last truck it was said to not accept new tires manufactured after x many yrs because of dry rotting. I can’t remember the number off the top.

Isn’t the sl similar to stock ratings?

I have them on fnfx wheels, they only rub if I'm sharp turning into my steep driveway, and anytime I hit dips or bump like speed bumps hard,
aside from that no! Right now I just live with it :)

SL is rated at 55k tread wear rating. I knew within 10k there was no way tires were going to last that long.

So that’s plastidip? Black- they don’t look overly glossy

I planned on painting my stock sport but I haven’t made a final decision on color. Black obviously was 1st choice but then I started thinking of a dark type of grey or gunmetal and then a dark type bronze :annoyed: More like a satin finish too

Have you or the other guy contacted the company to ask about the dry rot? Wonder if it’s a bad batch or a larger problem

Yea matte black plasti dip, it has held up pretty good been on for about a year and a half with some off roading. It’s more of a temporary thing until I pull the trigger on new rims.

Yeah they want to pro rate them. Sucks since they're 10 months old and a third worn through. Have to basically spend half what I paid for the tires again just to replace bad tires for a truck I won't have in a year or two. The tires were made not long before I bought them.

Yes. And I have LEDs in my truck...never broke a thing because I used quality products and vetted and installed everything myself. Falcon is a legit tire company the wildpeaks are American made. They seem to be a tighter fit, and a lot of these tire companies that are use to installing things quick and easy aren’t able to fully seat them after popping the bead. This leads to the vibrations and the in ability to balance. It’s what happens when you are a 18 year old working at discount tire with 23 other customers waiting. Either to inexperienced to know or to busy to care

I wasn’t disagreeing with you, I had a feeling a good majority had the likelihood of being improperly installed… it’s hard to understand why other people can’t be in the same mindset of doing it once- doing it right the first time.

The led snip was for the user error but blaming the product

Wildpeaks are probably the best tire I've ever owned. Such a smooth ride at 90mph.
