Nah be hard to see on a photo, 80s computers are just neat, everything is so primitive and easy to service

Never driven a car with a turbo before... that is until I put the bro-in-law's car back together. Water pump failed in his 02 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T. He ended up buying a new Honda even though I suggested he go with Toyota.

He calls me from Carmax to say he towed it over there and they are offering him 200 bones for it since its not running. I told him to walk away, tow it over and I'd get it running and sell it. Fully loaded, sport package, all leather, heated seats, BOSE system, and a recently replaced factory turbo. Will need brakes and tires soon but other than that, its running great w 140k on it. Just might keep it for myself. Granted not a vette but damn fun to drive.

I grew up with V8 cars all my life (my dad got me hooked on Corvettes).

Anyway, it wasn't until highschool that I owned my first because my friend got rear ended, and totaled his MK3 Supra. He decided to keep the car for parts and his parents bought him a new Subaru WRX (his parents had money).

I got a free 7MGTE engine and it replaced the 7MGE I had in my Toyota Cressida, my first car :anonymous:

Hmm...my coworker and most everyone else I know here got an email for a mandatory 'sexual harassment training' at 2pm today, but I never got one.

    Maybe I'm just that trustworthy

I've got a preliminary dad bod, meaning I'm in good shape right now but with a baby on the way it's only a matter of time

We give each other so much shit just before, during, and after those stupid computer training videos.

Aside from the military, the car business is the only place I've worked where you can get away with saying the shit we say to each other.

Apparently only team managers are supposed to go to the meeting, which is funny that my coworker is going because his team got laid off 8 months ago and never replaced haha.

I manage the photo studio but have never had anyone working under me here, so there's no one to harass even if I wanted to :( *touches self*

When I was a 17, first car was a 1967 Firebird. Loved that car. Hated how those old ass brakes would heat up and you'd lose a little stopping power. Thing had so much hidden rust from the dude I bought it from. Oh well, it was gone by the time I was 20 I think. Still, had a ton of fun with that ride.

Man, if you would've kept that car and restored it.

    I owned a 1977 Firebird that I restored a lot on minus exterior/paint/wheels/tires.

I remember ordering shit every other week from Classic Industries -

I don't know how that related to tie rods but...the outer tie rods I ordered OEM (from Toyotapartsdeal.com) and the inner tie rods I got the 555 ones from Low Range Offroad

The OEM outers came with new castle nuts and cotter pins, the 555 inners came with new stake washers so everything you need parts wise comes with both kits.
