    Correct answer.

I could run a half tomorrow if someone dared me. A month to prepare, I got this.

Hell yea. Since I started doing cardio a lot, it’s hard for me to get my heart rate up at the gym lol. It’s easy

    Nah.

Running is pretty much a pure mentality thing. There is a baseline physical fitness requirement but the ability to conquer is pure mental.
When you know you can do it, you can do it. So

I imagine just about all sports are the same.

We are forgoing the next show. Her condition wasn't there and her attitude plummeted... It's tough to hear you're too fat after working so hard for something. The reality of this sport can be very harsh.

I just don’t see how that’s worth it. To make yourself so starved and strung out just to be judged.

    Nope. Running is easy.

Its fun and requires like no focus, just put your tunes in and go or run with a buddy and chat the whole time. Goes by like nothin.

You know some days its asking a lot of me to count reps. Sometimes I just need a mindless fucking activity.

I'd rather be shot than run. Running is the worst. Cannot do it. Rowing or swimming is all the cardio I will do.

If I could be on a real boat, rowing might be fun. That would be peaceful and relaxing.

    I’m discovering exactly that lately.

I get way more excited to go ride my mountain bike than I do to goto the gym. This mind fuckery is real and finding balance will be interesting

Running just makes me hurt. Plus, I have to leave my house if I want to run, fuck that. I like my hermit-ness.

It's kind of like "do what you enjoy and you'll never work a day in your life" type thing.

If you genuinely enjoy what you are doing, it's less of a struggle.

Plus I think with any sports, you do it long enough and all your muscles get trained to just do it so naturally it's easier for you.

My joints never felt better than when I was running more than 30 miles a week. I feel light and agile.

Even with this fucking meniscus tear that hurts worse everyday. Running still is painless.

And you can put a TM in your hot AF unventilated garage if you truly want to be a hermit LOL

I most certainly can not put a treadmill in my sauna. I have no more room. I only have a rower because it breaks down into 2 pieces and stores nicely against the wall. Treadmills hurt me more than not treadmill running too. Running is just bad all around. People who do it have to be mentally unstable in some capacity

I'd just rather go and do something for my cardio. Like surf, or go on a bike ride, or mountain bike like @weldertaco . Speaking of, I was considering keeping my bike, but I know it's just another hobby I'll get in to and spend too much money on and either get hurt, or get bored of quick, so I'm selling my bike to a friend now. Probably buy more surfboards with the money :anonymous:
