Entune weather

I just looked on my Entune app on my phone and weather isn’t even available anymore. WTF?

 

Have you guys that are having problems check to see if the entune app is running on your phone? My phone will sometimes shut the app down, and then I can't get the weather to show, click on the app on my phone and once connected, then it works.

 

Doesnt need any external app to collect the data via HD radio.

 

I just went to "The Weather Channel" web page I don't know if this could be the reason but, June 2nd they temporarily changed their name to the "The Water Channel" until Dec 31st.
Wonder if somehow that is affecting the local weather HD broadcast.

 

Same issue. I'm in Dallas, Texas as well.
Have y'all reported this issue to Toyota or dealer?

 

No Sir I have not. Cowboy Toyota, Dallas did my last service and cross threaded the front skid plate bolts (bad), So I'm still kinda tic'd off at them. Didn't feel like listening to their fake customer service spiel.
I'd like to take all the oil change monkeys impact drivers away.

check your weather map? seems like a co-worker and me can still access that function

 

Sorry to hear about that. Toyota of Dallas is not any better.
Anyway, I will email toyota support tomorrow.
I can check the map fine as well. This whole issue is bizarre.

 

I think my Entune weather app is a little off this morning. There is a mismatch between the real temp and Entune.

 

Dallas area as well and having same problem. Dallas, Richardson, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Irving, etc...always picked up weather signal on commute to/from work. Now it just keeps "downloading". Any solutions yet?

I think the problem is on the "weather channel" side. I sent them a message from thier web page earlier this week still no response. Maybe more should message them might get something.

 

Noticed the same thing too this morning.

Could be government spending cutbacks. Just not broadcasting as many stations any more

 

Hmmm, maybe, wouldn’t think a company like Toyota would team up with government programs. See that Big “The Weather Channel” blue logo on our radios now that is who Toyota is teamed up with . I think its the weather channel just my opinion.

 

Stopped by Toyota of Dallas. Tech said he had not heard of any issues with Entune. Recommended I check if Entune app on phone was up to date, along with phone ios, if both up to date then delete the app. I mentioned I had it using HD only to pull data so phone would not be an issue. Then he said it would have to go to a tech and would take an hour.

 

Same here. I commute from TMS to DFW INTL daily and after I got back from Colorado a couple of weeks ago the weather app says downloading. Weather updated the entire trip to western Colorado and back without an issue.

Got off the phone with Toyota and the rep I spoke with had this issue reported to her recently. She advised me to go into Settings, General, Delete personal data. Did that and the weather is back. Hope it works for others.
