Appreciate the feedback. I'll pass this along to our production team. Adjusting the concavity of the wheel face and/or adding a lip is possible. Not entirely sure on how it will look, but it's do-able.

You said 17” by mid September do you have an idea with the 16”? I think most of us will be waiting on the 16’s. I know I’m waiting but if it’s going to be a few months I’ll be going a different direction
    Thanks

Currently working on the mold for the 16". It's a little hard to give an ETA, but realistically it will take a few months... We're working on making some enhancements to production process to be mimic OEM quality.

What would be an estimated lead time for these (2020 Pro replica with Lip, 17")? I want to try and hold off for these.

Getting the design and mold created usually takes the most time and cost. Once that’s done, lead time is usually 6-8 weeks. Sometimes even sooner depending on the complexity of the wheel and construction. Depending on how this first batch of 17” are received we’ll look into making modifications if needed (such as a lip or concave face).

Hmm, Interesting.. curious to see a 16x8. What kind of backspacing would we be looking at? 4” would be perfect.

I'm no wheel designer, but I think cropping or shrinking this wheel to fit inside of the barrel would take away too much from the look.

Exactly, this is a reproduction not a redesign. The only thing I think you guys got wrong was making a 17 first and not a 16. We have plenty of choices for a 17 but not that much in a 16 with a proper backspaceing.

4.5" backspacing. They will have a 0 offset.

Appreciate the feedback guys. We're always looking for ways to enhance our reproduction wheels to cater to consumer wants. It helps give our wheels some "uniqueness" if you will.

Haven’t read this whole thread in complete detail and I do love the look of the new pro wheels way more so than the previous iteration but lighter would be an impressive feat! I felt like I read a launch article somewhere about the ‘20 pros and the wheels being 3 or even 4 lbs lighter than previous pro wheels which are in the 24# range I believe. So a 21 or 20 lb wheel is impressive enough imo but to cut under that is quite an accomplishment!
(Thought I saw the stats for this replica at 24#)? Maybe a size difference?
Wish I had come across this thread sooner. Might’ve waited but who can pass up $450 for a set of new methods!?
props for making an affordable option!!

I’m down for some 16s in a flat black.

But maybe I just skimmed too fast bc I don’t see anything about pricing.

ETA is mid-september for the 17x8's. We don't normally sell directly to the public, but for these wheels we will do a limited pre-order run (TW discount included) to get the word out and get feedback from you guys. I will have pricing available for everyone when we open up pre-orders.

Correct, the 17x8 will be 24lbs. We're working at making a 16x8 in Flow Forged which should drop weight down to under ~20lbs. I believe 16" OEM Pro wheels are about 24-25lbs range if I remember correctly.

Also in for 16x8 0 offset. I’m gonna make my DCLB OR look like a Pro.

I’ll be selling the authentic 16” wheels from my 2020 Pro as soon as I receive it (mid October). Will cost more then the replicas though.

They made a mistake going with the 17’s first and not the 16’s. If you read through this thread most wanted the 16’s there’s already a crap load of 17’s to chose from out there.
