When I was looking for a new stereo, I wanted something that had 0 flash and as basic display as possible. Found what I wanted in my Sony. All black, only thing polished is the word Sony.

from what i have heard and possibly read a 4runner seat limited will exactly or nearly fit to my poor tacoma

so the LKQ corp was able to find me one from a '97 4Runner in Topeka KS with nearly as many miles as my tacoma,
Tacomas (top-of-the-line) are near non-existent in their database i think without pursuing further
the 4Runner seats are the tan oak so I will need to swap my fabric and/or cushion
it should be direct fit all around or is it not going to work?
they have 30 day return as long as I do not MODIFY it

they do have a bezel available for the 1st of the 1st gens
you have to buy the whole dash parts, too
it will cost about $180 to get the just the bezel!

@Running Man are you maybe able to help me figure this out or do you have big birthday plans upcoming?

did the 1997 4Runner have electric power seats as well?
the guy was asking me this at the LKQ counter

    I said i dunno!
the price is surprisingly modest :) for the 4Runner seat in Topeka KS

I managed to find a 69 442 for decent price my Jr year of HS.

It had the Hurst 4 speed package with the 12 bolt posi-trac rear end. Disc brakes on the front were good compared to earlier years.

You couldn't hold it in the road from all of the fishtailing if you ever really got on it in 1st.

It would bark the tires in 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th.

The biggest draw back was from it being ordered without A/C. It was hell to drive it in the summer. That explains why I got it for cheap.

If you hooked them up to an auxiliary pump and switch you could have a nice backup.

first thing i will check is if my blue gray handle will switch over easily, i am not sure how to get the side piece trim off with the adjuster wheel
your input does not sound very encouraging right off the bat

was I supposed to look for a different year 4Runner? I just told him to check for same year as my truck
