    Hey TacomaWorld,
First time on this website since I’m a new owner and just a question. I want to get some Hid or LED. Would I need a kit or just light bulbs. Is there a Kit I would need?

As mentioned above, do not bother with LEDs, dont let the easiness of plug and play mislead you, the light output will more than likely end up worse than stock. I went with HIDs, the Xenon Depot kit, Im pleased. It takes about an hour to install, maybe longer if you're not familiar with doing stuff like that. Morimotos are another good option for HIDs.

If you really want to extra light after that I'd recommend these, theyre a little spendy but they are amazing.

I'd like to see Trucklite build a replacement LED headlight assembly for 2nd and 3rd gens. I like their Freightliner M2 headlights. There aren't any LED bars or halos or anything, just a black housing and LED reflectors.

The Retro Source now sells an LED projector kit. Curious to see how that turns out. Its their most expensive kit offered.

I have Morimoto HID kit. Have had it on for about 45k miles and have little to no problems. One of the best upgrades I’ve ever done.

The Rigid Industries kit is on point. I have them, I only went with GE +130's for the low beams. With the fogs you don't need anything more

Actually no bouncing issues. Sometimes when I turn on the headlights only one turns on. It’s usually a quick fix like turning them off and on again and it’s good. Happens randomly like 1-2 a month and I use my headlights everyday. Not sure if it’s a driver or relay problem or what?

I had the same problem when I had them in my 2016. TRS sent me a new ballast that solved the problem.
