I’ve been looking, want a decent tow pig for under 10k. Just haven’t found the right one as of yet.

I'm thinking the A/Ts and the lower lift, uphill puts more weight on the rear, caused me to lose pulling traction and reduce clearance.

I'm sold. Coopers are the best I've run and seen.

    #lockeroverlsd lol

Very true, but front lockers are best used going straight otherwise you can pop CV axles. I'd prefer to just winch out than break anything honestly.

I pulled my front Aussie out, hated it. Not like you can’t turn the wheels tho esp with a selectable

Aussie makes mechanical lockers meaning any time you’re putting power down it’s locked. It’s why rock crawlers chirp a shit ton when they turn because most run mechanical lockers (toy guys like spools and Lincoln’s tho) because it’s ratcheting together but then they let off the gas it’ll move like normal

I can't wait to buy bumpers and a winch around Black Friday.
I'm buying a 1911 either this pay day or next. But I'm also getting 0 OT next week for the first time since late January. Luckily August is almost over. That check is gunna be dogshit. Won't be able to save any of it.
But I should be raking in the OT September thru November. We have an other turnaround coming then.

Is Aussie a manufacturer or do you mean Australia? Lately they've (Australia) been pushing 1.5 locking LSDs for the front, instead of on/off full lockers and spools.

Hard for me to say I liked my lockers more than my lsd. Since my prerunners were locked (and I think all PRs should be) but my 4wd is lsd and its treated me good too

Watch a video how a standard differential works, then imagine that the spider gears are 100% locked together or welded. Full equal wheel speed for each spooled axle.

Selectable locker is better for off-road, automatic LSD (I.e. viscous or clutch) is better for daily driving lockup or a race course with corners in different directions.

So it's just a permanent locker?
