well, if what they say about the looming recession is true used trailer prices might be better the next year or year after... otherwise seems like it's not worth buying used. Paying a couple hundred more seems like a no brainer when it comes to having good tires, wires, and working brakes :notsure:

I just asked a guy in Oklahoma if he'd Greyhound ship me a low mile clean looking R150F. I figure they don't provide crates for the item though... @BartMaster1234

You have to box it up yourself. I’ve shipped many things with Greyhound.

Front diff with 4.10 gears, preferably from a vehicle with manual hubs so I can get the diff-tube.

Transmission and transfer case from an Automatic V6

That's it; I plan on buying new a new drive shaft.

Yeah that's why I asked. It might be hard getting this guy to find a "box" for a whole R150F.

@turbodb shipped me a bedrack that he made via Greyhound, stupid easy to do and as a recipient, just have to pick it up at the station.

Wasn't the guy that you bought the manual hubs from going back to grab the front diff tube too? Or was it already taken when he went back for it?

You don't have to "box" it; just put pieces of cardboard on all edges/corners, saran wrap that bitch, and send it off.

@BartMaster1234 mentioned that too; I haven't asked him or talked to him today at all. I'll send a PM once I get home from work....yes I'm still at work but closing up now.

Definitely see if he got it, or if he hasn't then ask him if he can...they aren't easy to come by and highly sought after. From what I've read on here anyway

i see a small one coming.. dont think it'll last long though. trade wars are like that lol.

aluminum trailers are pricey. but i dont want a steel one. the towing cap of the tundra is 7800 lbs. keep the trailer light and i can tow more with it.

Absolutely. Was one of the hardest things to source for my swap. I finally found one and I had to beg the owner to separate the tube from the clamshell.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I've shipped a set of 4 car coil springs via Fed Ex Ground without being packed. They just zip tied them together and zip tied on a tag. No hassle.

Some guy in Austin had a well used 4:10 diff listed for $50 about a year before my swap. I'd still be rolling with a clamp on the ADD diff tube if I hadn't remembered the listing and found it again. xuN1jM5H6F_VHf9HBlSJVN_ay9_ByPWyOq_q-3hH_8e25d0532aa664a9a7dc035414f6f85836e727bf.jpg
