A used 2015 I think it was. Just looked online what they go for and the Supra just seems ridiculous.

Yeah any German car over 6 years old is guaranteed to be a money pit, and any one in his price range is guaranteed to be broken beyond reasonable repair

I put off buying a full sized spare (235/85/16) and I'm going to kick myself for it tomorrow when I replace my tailgate for my tiregate.

Should check the norcal section :anonymous:

oh i know its fast. theres no doubting that. it just does not have that soul the old supras had. thats what bugs me. ive driven all gens of supras. this one feels like your run of the mill bmw. its a damn fine car from bmw. but it just doesnt feel like a supra. as for what you can get for 60k theres a few cars out there. but the biggest blow to toyota is the new corvettes listed starting price.

i just dont like bmws modern engines. thats an opinion though. Toyota seriously could of engineered a damn fine straight six but updating what they had in the 90s. but instead they took the easy way out and partnered with a german company and wont even offer a manual. if i could get a supra for 50k with a manual i'd probably be interested.

Toyotas not interested in making new gas engines anymore. Even updating an old inline 6 is too much to ask. I don't know why they brought back the supra, but it deserved better. I'd have settled for a Japanese turbo 4 banger if it meant it was a real Toyota. At least they still make 4 bangers. But in 15 years it won't matter, most of these Supras and their accompanying Z4s will be like every other old BMW that isn't an E36, broken and forgotten. And Toyota will likely be 90% electric

I was waiting at the only diesel pump at Kroger the other day. A dude in a new Mercedes pulls up on the other side of the car that was filling up, then pulls into the pump as soon as she pulls away before I get a chance to.

I hopped out of my truck and kind of shouted (truck dinosaur noises loud :luvya:) "excuse me, man, would you move to another pump? I was waiting and this is the only one with diesel"

he paused for a moment then was like "yeah, whatever" before getting in and pulling away... chick at the other side of the pump told me she thought he was gonna fight me for the gas pump LOL

I got to drive one the other day and I'd have one too, Kia is getting competitive. It isn't amazing, but it's a platform that has the potential for greatness.

Don't be like me, I went on a 3 day remote camping trip without a full size spare after getting 33s installed...2 days in and I blow a sidewall on one. Had to finish it out and drive 300 miles home with a 32" tire up front.

vehicles are extensions of ourselves. the only way to find out if you like a vehicle is go go drive it.

if you can find a supra that is. our is sold already. lol but go drive one. its not bad. and i would recommend driving a stinger (not that they really compete, hell one doesnt even have backseats
