I'd get on that ultraguage group buy Ollie. A digital water temp reader will come in handy to accurately monitor the temps.

David I know you do welder repair. Does your shop ever have used welders they sell?

 

Dude don't ever worry about asking me to help you with something. If I can't I'll let you know, but I'm always down to help. I bet I could ask my dad to help and he would.

That goes for anyone else, if someone needs help with something on their truck and I can help I will. If I can't make it or can't do it, then I will tell you and help find some others that know.

Sometimes we do have great deals on some second hand welders, but we dont have much of an inventory of used machines right now. what type of welder were you looking for?

 

I wanna sell my little 110v Lincoln 100hd and get something bigger that uses a 220v maybe or even a 110v that is more power and plumbed for argon/co2. I'd be really happy with a mig again but a tig would also be nice to have.

 

get on craigslist, i was really close to buying a tig the other day. it was like 1150 for a great like new miller

 

I have a SP 175t for $600. it comes with the MIG welding kit and 2 years left of warranty. it was a demo unit so it was never used for fabricating. all that is missing is the shielding gas tank.
It seems better built than the new SP180T model that replaced it. It will be a nice step up from the HD 100.

Anyone in Tucson get hit by that big ass storm? I got hit by it on I-19 south of Ajo. That is the first time I have ever pulled off the freeway. I was told 70 + mph winds on that part of I-19.

any of you guys have longboards? was thinking of trying to get thing stand straight up in my bed with a lock on it though...any ideas?

 

BUY a bench vise and bolt it to your truck bed. Then clamp the board to the vise...or just take measurements and make a sweet custom billet mount that bolts up to the bed!

 

a snowboard holder that people mount to their cars would work perfect and they lock
