    Crappppp...it was just a dream...had a good one that we all got confirmation that they were here and shipping out to us and the thread was ablaze with some very happy mofos...errrrr back to waiting

    The few people that know aren't on this forum. It's generally Charlotte or Savannah IIRC, since Los Angeles is a flop of a port.

    Correct. This whole ordeal for all involved changed how we do pre-orders on new designs, so that the process is now standardized:

    1) Design complete
    2) 3D printed prototype produced, shipped
    3) Prototype test fit, confirm all functions
    4) Changes made if necessary
    5) Version 2 prototype made, 3D printed internals but production housing
    6) Production begins for 50 sets
    7) 50 sets air shipped, pre-order for 50 sets open
    8) Confirm no issues with initial 50 sets, begin production on 250+ sets
    9) 250+ sets shipped by sea, pre-order for full production open
    10) Once full production run is received, ship all pre-orders

    The Tacoma lights had a few small adjustments made early on in this process, so we took pre-orders really way before what we should have. Took pre-orders around steps 1-2 instead of 7.

    For example, we have 07-13 Silverado, 14-20 Tundra, 14-20 4Runner in step 8-9 now and 11-16 Super Duty in step 7. About six more models in the process too.

    So are all 250 sets spoken for based on pre-order? Ill ask it this way if pre-order now what is the estimated turn around on receiving the set?

    Probably pretty good. I'm guessing you'd get a set from the 250 that's on the water right now, as I don't believe there's 250 pending orders between this group buy and whatever orders TRS has, along with other vendors. I don't know if the discount code is still active, but you'd most likely receive lights at the same time as the rest of us.
