The reason I ask is because I have the non high clearance one on order and may be able to change it. I would want to change it because I just got a dent from who know what right where I would be cutting. There is also a smaller dent with a little paint missing on the other side same spot that I bought the truck with.

The high clearance one or the bolt on? I already have the bolt on on order but I'm not sure if I should change it to the high clearance one.

 

I'd go with the high clearance once since you wheel your truck alot and could gain from the extra clearance, thats what i'd do

 

Yeah I'm sure I could benefit from it. My hesitation is the resale but I guess a cut up bed side is better than a dented one.

 

get the bolt on...if u decide u dont want it get the high clearence...u dont wanna get somethin u will regret like cuttin ur truck n havin regrets of doin so!!! get the bolt on besides it looks way better IMO!!!

This is true to. I wish I could see one in person. I just see this as a simples solution. There are dents so cut them off

 

No plans to ever sell it but I never know what could happen. Ideally I would like to run it till it's end.

Bolt on, the first thing I look for with after market bumpers is a towing hitch and if I can use the bumper as a step like the stock one.

 

I got a fresh one within the last couple of days and one I had from day one. That's how I bought it.

I personally like the cut off look but my dad isn't too fond of it. I don't think he understand the benefits of it fully though. Idk. I feel like I'm being mr.indecisive over here.

 

It's got a hitch believe me I need that. I more use the tires to step on than the bumper. Also there looks to be enough lip to step on if need be.

 

Either of the Ryans or Will, any input?

Sorry, been really busy lately. But I completely agree with you on the benifits of the high clearance but that is something you can't really go back from. If you were wheeling in rocks and stuff alot I would say deff go for it but in Florida with all our dirt I think a nice bolt on would be sufficient. So basically I think you will be fine with ether one, but if it were me, I would probably go bolt on

does anyone know of any paintless dent removal companies in central florida??? i have a pretty good size dent in the side of my bed n i would like to get it removed...im the paranoid type so it pisses me off every time i walk by it

 

Just look at getting it fixed by your insurance company, I had a nice dent in my hood and i got the dent fixed, my hood repainted and clearcoated all by Toyota for a $100 deductible,
