It’s possible the tundra shares the same entune premium setup as the Tacoma, there is a Dasaita thread in that forum that’s like 40 pages deep and may contain info on it.

Got my Carlinkit dongle in from Amazon today, works flawlessly so far. I think I’ll be about out put the dongle in line between the oem cable and the cable coming off the HU so it’ll be hidden behind the dash and I’ll just have to plug in a regular iPhone cable into the oem USB port on the dash

Also can’t wait to use the new iOS 13 CarPlay with it, the dashboard view is going to be great

I put my dongle behind the radio. There's a hole to the right side that you can route the lighting cable thru the passenger side and under the center console.

So you didn’t connect the dongle to the oem usb on the dash and instead connected it to one of the other 2 usb the HU came with?

It is coming out of my arm rest lol. But you gotta route it from the hole like I said above. Then under the center console and then there's a hole under the arm rest too.

Based on what I've seen on Amazon, there is a separate dongle that supports iOS 13, available next week. Hard to know if it's the exact same hardware only tested with iOS 13.

    Supports iOS 13: https://www.amazon.com/Carlinkit-Wireless-Navigation-Mirroring-Bluetooth/dp/B07S1M8C34/

    Does NOT: https://www.amazon.com/Carlinkit-Wireless-Mirroring-Interface-Receiver/dp/B07QGZ9W1D/

    Something to keep in mind.

Just to clarify (I'm thinking of ordering this week), you don't need a new bezel if you have the larger Entune Premium 7" unit (non-JBL in my case). Is that right? Also, you need the brackets from OP's link to seat the unit or bend the OEM brackets.

EDIT: Also is this a resistive or capacitive screen?

    Thanks!

Both those dongles are the same just different colors. there is a thread over on XDA where they have tested the carlinkit dongle with ios13 and it is confirmed to work.

I sure hope it works on iOs13! I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t as it’s basically just mirroring your phone apps on your HU. I do like the new feature of separating CarPlay apps and phone apps so each can work independently on the new update. Anyone running the 13 Beta would be able to confirm

Yeah I ordered from them, but I guess it gives me time for all the other accessories to come in and install everything all at once

What do you guys think is the best way to cut the bezel for the radio to fit? I was thinking dremel on a low speed to not burn up the plastic.

Somehow you need to make a template of the perimeter of the HU face. I can measure the distances for you, left/right too/bottom of the bezel so it’s properly oriented. If you could somehow scribe that template outline then that would give you a good line to follow. I would finish the edge with a sanding block by hand with a 1500-2000 grit paper so you don’t take off too much at a time
