I have my rock sliders due in soon and I wanted to know if any of you knew which spray paint closely matches the OR fender flares. Kind of want them to closely match if I can. What paint are you guys using? Thanks Dave

    Paint??

Aren't YOU fancy?! Big date, eh? Good for you.

Srsly: a lot of them come powder-coat black. It's close enough for me.

Satin black will get you fairly close

A lot of them have the OPTION to come powder coated black. Paint will be easier to touch up if actually using them as sliders.

I think it's odd to care about color-matching a slider. It's irony. Or aluminumy!

Huh, look at that. One black sock, one Muck boot.

Satin black. Maybe semi-gloss if your fenders have never been through the trail. I would just rattle can them if you intend on using them as sliders since it's easy to touch up.

I guess if you're gonna paint it why not paint it how you want it.

Let me suggest, if you're actually going to stand on them at some point (you probably will), that you use a bedliner rattle can. Black, grippy, easy touch up.

I was going to get powder coated but I had a set on a truck years ago and the chipping etc. That is why I wanted to paint this time so down the road touch ups easy. That’s all. Thanks for the replies.
