If you lift first, you can put off the fender modifications for a bit though since you would clear at the new ride height just rolling down the road normally.

 

I'm fine with it, aside from week 2 of the season...that's all I need to know. lol

If you're just looking to trail ride, hunt out of your truck and stuff like that, the full 5100 Bilstein setup would do you just fine. They ride great on the road and perform great offroad for what you are looking for. I'll be setting up my Tacoma soon with a suspension grade as well. Yep I will look into that. No rock crawling for me. That also brings up the question should I shoot for the Off Road or Sport? I have been saving for this truck for a while and I'm going in on a TRD. I have been leaning more towards the Sport given how much highway driving I will do.

 

I'm guessing you'll quit attending this thread by September 8th.

 

At least we don't have to deal with A&M anymore, just a waist of time.

 

lol, as an LSU fan....I can in fact say that 7 Overtimes with A&M is a large waste of time.

 

Well, the Sport has the hood scoop/color matching bumpers and and the Offroad has the rear locker/chrome bumpers. Since you're going to change the suspension out anyways, it won't really matter which one you get. The Sport has different valved shocks than the Offroad, I think they are little stiffer on the Sport than the Offroad. So if you value the rear locker, I'd get the Offroad. Better to have it and no need it, than to need it and not have it.
