    damn man! glad it wasnt any worse! rest up! I remember when my buddy landed straight on his left leg at 45 mph skydiving (he made a really dumb move) and shattered his femur, the fight or flight reactions set in for you and him, that why it didnt hurt that much.

    hope recovery goes well for you man!

    Thanks. The PA that looked at it 3 days after surgery was surprised I was moving it, and not taking the hydrocodone they gave me. Just tylenol, ibuprofen, and alternating hot and cold packs. So I'm hoping it heals quickly. Seems to be surprising them so far.

    Thanks. And you're probably right. I think I was more concerned about the kids than myself. And the worry about being out of work too long. I don't have disability insurance. I do have health insurance though to cover the procedure, and enough vacation/sick time to make it through to when they released me for light duty work 10 days later.

    Thanks. I'm working on it. lol Working from home for the next few weeks so I'm sitting on the couch, watching TV, and doing what I can from my laptop. At least I have a job I *can* do from home.


    And by the time I have my next followup I'll have my boss's job. :D So that'll be nice.
