    Ha, I think I’ll pass.

Ok, I’m on an icons stage 3 with 285/75/17, someone school me on wheel specs. I’m looking at the SCS F5.

    17x8.5 or 17x9?

    I’m assuming 17x8.5 is fine

I'm running 285/70-17 on 17x9 Fuel Boost wheels.

    17x9 will get you #stancenation

But yes, 17x8.5 will probably suit your needs better

The 17x8.5 have something around a 4.3 or 4.5 back spacing. These should stick out a little further than the stock wheels. The 17x9 have 3.5 backspacing which stick out around an inch further. Running a 285/75r17 on the 3.5bs will likely cause rubbing at times on the cab mount even with a cmc and fire wall when stuffing a wheel while fully locked. I'm currently running ray 10's in the 3.5bs and even with +5.5 camber. Also get a ton of mud thrown all over the doors in muddy conditions. If I were to do it again I would go with the 17x8.5 option. Pics of the 3.5bs on my truck below.

They do :D and I would have had to pay to get them re powder counted in the brushed bronze that I am a very big fan of. My solution for the rubbing will likely end in a very expensive lift in another year or so.

Thanks man. I have a CMC and actually still have tiny rubbing now, but I have a feeling it from the plastic. I’ve got some homework to do. Konig isn’t going to do shit. Dustin at FN tried, he’s offered me the wheels at his cost but I’m not confident in them. Im sure the new FF is a better wheel. But I think I’m going t pass. I’m looking at a set of SCS and I’ll see what else I can find.

Yeah if you rub a little now you'll likely rub a lot more with a 3.5 bs.

I’m looking at some of those too. Just not 100% sold on any of them.

Konig decided to replace my wheels, they will be working with FN to ship out once he has moved.
