There's the "Heritage Edition" coming out in 2020

    https://www.toyota.com/upcoming-vehicles/landcruiser/

Dunno much about how different it is but I'm sure the price tag is still way too high for something you'd want to risk taking out on any moderate to difficult trails

A fully loaded Sequoia isn't too far off from the starting price of a new LC at around $70k I think and I don't even know how well those are selling compared to 4runners and Highlanders, Rav4s etc. Seems at that price range people would rather have a Lexus

In all seriousness, an updated version of it would do well. But then theres the 4Runner so...

Definitely, that would be cool. Bring it back for a limited run like they did the FJ Crusier. When the FJ was around I don't seem to remember it hurting the 4runner or Sequoia sales. Then again I do remember the FJ didn't sell all that great when it was available and then when they ax'ed it, everyone went nuts for them in the used market.

The back seat was useless. They wouldve done better as just a two door imo. And they had allllllll the blind spots.

I hated them at first, looked like life size Lego cars to me...but they've really grown on me now. I would love to have a 6spd manual 4x4 one

I liked it until I sat in one. That thing had to rival the hummer h2 with how many blind spots it had.

yeah it would be more to satisfy the 'family 4x4 rig' itch for me.

But they have the highest resale value of used Toyotas...they practically go for the same price used as they were new 10 years ago

If they brought it back, they definetly need to adapt a front facing trail cam or something like the wranglers have now if they plan on keeping the blind spots.
