Tube Fuel Main Front replacement 3.4

was told the fuel line pressure should be relieved before I crack the filter flare nuts or fuel will be spraying everywhere

disconnect fuse at the fuel pump?
disconnect the battery before I attempt this?


already know to have the fuel tank cap removed and have very little fuel in the tank in case
wasn't sure about the pressure in the fuel line

had I not needed the interior 'secure space' for the out of town jobs at the time I most likely would have a single cab truck, and would have definitely tried picking up a v6 if possible because that little 4cyl I had did not get up the hills so well in my neighborhood, let alone If I had all my tools in the back

Those are not standard seats for my year, they are the sr5 seats like the 4 runner and yes they are pretty nice.
The Tacoma SR5 seat is a direct bolt in, the 4 runner seat one leg has to be modified for it to fit in the Tacoma

 

your corbeau seats are probably nicer because you said they keep you from sliding around on harder turns? I definitely feel a slide going on

 

It depends on what you want, the LG1 Corbeau seats hug you in place and you feel more part of the truck and you don’t slide around at all. They are thinner all the way around.

The sr5 seats 4 runner seats are thicker and more padding, don’t really hold you in place.

If you had a test ride in both seats you would understand
